We are excited to invite medical students who are strongly considering Neurology—or who have already chosen it as their specialty—to participate in our Residency Preparation Workshop during the Georgia Neurological Society Annual Meeting on March 27th, 2026.
This workshop was first launched in 2025 and quickly became one of the most valuable and well-received events of the conference for students. The session brings together Program Directors and Associate Program Directors from Emory, MCG, and Morehouse for a highly conversational and informative Q&A-style discussion.
What to Expect
Our faculty leaders and residency program directors will share insights on:
-
- The soft skills and professional qualities programs look for
- Approaching board exams and academic expectations
- Highlights of their respective neurology residency programs

- Advice on career development and navigating medical school
In addition, current MS-4 students and PGY-3 resident will help introduce:
-
