CRITERIA
- Experts rate the abstracts on scientific merit, breadth of audience interest, and quality of presentation, including compliance with the guidelines and instruction.
- Before submitting, please review for proper English usage. If an abstract contains material that has been previously published or presented, that information must be disclosed.
CONTENT
- The GNS REQUIRES that all authors organize their abstract body under the following headings:

- OBJECTIVE
- BACKGROUND
- DESIGN/METHODS
- RESULTS
- CONCLUSIONS.

- There is a maximum of 300 words allowed per abstract. The word count includes the body only.

- Do NOT include any institution names in the abstract body.
- Do NOT include Tables and figures in the abstract.

- Case reports are allowed and should use the headings that are applicable to their work.

- Case reports are NOT required to use all five headings (Objective, Background, Design/Methods, Results, Conclusions) if not applicable.

- Please include “Not applicable” or “NA” in the headings that are not applicable to your work.
- Previously presented abstracts can also be submitted for consideration - BUT THAT INFORMATION MUST BE DISCLOSED.

- Font of the abstract should be Times New Roman, 12-point.
- The abstract should be labeled “LASTNAME_FIRSTNAME_2027_TITLE”.
- The ONLY acceptable file format is PDF.

- We will email all abstract first authors by Monday, February 22, 2027 via email the outcome of their abstract submission(s).

- REJECTION - Abstracts will be rejected without review for the following reasons:

- Abstracts received after January 31, 2027 11:59 PM EST
- Incomplete submissions or submissions not related to Neurology.
- Files not labelled in the following format: LASTNAME_FIRSTNAME_2027_TITLE.pdf

Instructions for submitted abstracts must be followed completely.
Abstracts that do not conform to the prescribed rules will be rejected.
The abstract submission deadline has passed and the submission portal is now officially CLOSED.
